Scarborough New Year Celebrations
29th December 2017 - 1st January 2018
4 Day Breaks
Avoid the last minute pain of what to do on New Year’s Eve and enjoy a relaxing break to Scarborough. No cooking, no washing up, what better way to welcome in New Year than a holiday? So relax, unwind and enjoy the New Year’s festivities.
Friday We depart Lincolnshire in the morning taking comfort stops en-route to our hotel. After we have settled in to our rooms, we shall receive a wine reception from our hotel before tonight’s evening meal and entertainment.
Saturday Today we make the short journey to Pickering to board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a nostalgic rail journey to the wonderful, fishing town of Whitby. Here you can explore the streets at your leisure before returning to our hotel for afternoon tea and cake. This evenings meal shall be accompanied by evening entertainment.
Sunday – New Year’s Eve Today we enjoy a visit to the historic city of York. Explore its cobbled streets at your leisure sampling many of its independent shops, and taking advantage of the post Boxing day sales. If shopping is not for you, why not visit one of York’s many exciting attractions including York Cathedral, the National Railway Museum or the York Chocolate Story. Upon returning to our hotel we retire to our rooms and prepare for the nights festivities which will include evening entertainment, a New Year’s Eve Party and the countdown to midnight.
Monday – New Year’s Day Sadly, our time in Scarborough has come to an end. We shall spend the morning at leisure in Scarborough allowing time for those ‘sore heads’ to recover before departing for Lincolnshire taking comfort stops en-route.
