Searching for a beautiful and welcoming destination to enjoy the perfect break? Then look no further than Dorset. A county contrasting beautiful countryside, coastlines and seaside resorts, the largest being Bournemouth offering 7 miles of glorious sandy beaches, a vast array of shops, attractions and all year round entertainment.
Monday We depart Lincolnshire in the morning taking comfort stops en-route to our hotel.
Tuesday Today’s excursion takes us west, firstly spending the morning in the historic town of Dorchester. This thriving market town has famous connections with Thomas Hardy and Roman Britain. Afterwards we continue our journey to the Georgian seaside town of Weymouth, location for the London 2012 Olympic Sailing, home to beautiful golden sands and safe shallow waters if you wish to get your feet wet.
Wednesday Today’s excursion firstly takes us to the fascinating ancient Saxon town of Wareham situated on the banks of the River Frome. Afterwards we hop aboard the Swanage Railway for a unique journey through beautiful scenery, passing the magni cent ruins of Corfe Castle towards Swanage.
Thursday Today our morning will be spent at leisure in Bournemouth, England’s most popular seasideresort. Be sure to walk it’s golden sandy beaches and sparkling sea before making the short trip to Poole for a relaxing pleasure cruise out of Poole Harbour and along Dorset’s magni cent coast line.
Friday Sadly, after breakfast we depart for home, taking comfort stops en-route to Lincolnshire.
